My mom used to be a nurse and when she had me she took the night shift at the hospital so she was always there during the day. She wanted to just be a stay-at-home mom, at least until I started school, but money was an issue so she found the perfect solution. And she did love her job, but she loved being a mother more and she was willing to give up her career for a while. Just all depends on the mother/father and the situation. I think you're awesome for standing up for Hilary! :)
That’s actually what my dad did! He would take the night shifts so he could be around for us during the day, because he wanted to be there. He didn’t just want to be giving us money, he wanted to be there, too.
